Conducta sexual y platicidad neuronal
LÍNEA DE INVESTIGACIÓN
Evaluación del control neural de la conducta sexual. Identificación de los mecanismos que contribuyen a que la conducta sexual pueda inducir un estado afectivo positivo (placentero) evaluado por el condicionamiento de preferencia de lugar. Mecanismos de plasticidad cerebral involucrados, incluyendo la neurogénesis. Estrategias metodológicas de vanguardia como la resonancia magnética inducida por incrementos de manganeso (MEMRI) que permite hacer mapeo cerebral del animal integro.
