Laboratorio de anatomía comparada del sistema olfativo – grupo MORFAN

LÍNEA DE INVESTIGACIÓN

 Estudio de los sistemas olfativos de los mamíferos, con especial atención a las especies domésticas y en perspectiva comparada con la fauna silvestre. A través de técnicas histológicas, lectino-histológicas, inmunohistoquímicas y transcriptómicas, analizamos la morfología, conexiones centrales y bases moleculares de la mucosa olfativa y del sistema vomeronasal. Investigamos el desarrollo prenatal y postnatal temprano y la caracterización de moléculas feromonales con aplicaciones en bienestar animal y producción.
